If you are someone seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, struggling with the weight of past traumas, or looking to heal in a holistic and compassionate way, I am here to support you. My ideal clients are those who may feel misunderstood or stuck—whether navigating the complexities of neurodivergence, managing the lasting effects of trauma, or seeking guidance through a significant life transition. Together, we will create a safe space where you can explore your emotions, reconnect with your authentic self, and develop tools for resilience. Whether you are a parent, professional, or individual looking for growth, my approach blends art therapy, body-centered practices, and mindfulness to help you move forward in your healing journey.

Background and Expertise

My practice is deeply rooted in lifespan development, guided by Erik Erikson’s model of psychosocial development. This model allows me to address each client’s emotional, social, and psychological growth across all stages of life. I focus on helping individuals navigate critical developmental tasks and overcome the challenges that arise at each stage, from early childhood through adulthood.

I received specialized training at the Erikson Institute in early childhood mental health and family counseling, which provided me with a strong foundation for understanding the importance of early relationships and their influence on development throughout life. My work with families, children, and individuals incorporates these principles, ensuring that each client is supported holistically and developmentally.

In addition to my clinical work, I founded Art of the Soul Studio in 2010, where I combine my knowledge of art therapy with developmental psychology to offer comprehensive mental health services. My practice also emphasizes the integration of trauma work, particularly for individuals facing complex PTSD and identity development issues, including those from neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and immigrant backgrounds.

Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is holistic, grounded in empathy, and tailored to each client’s unique developmental needs. I integrate body-centered work, mindfulness breathing, art therapy, and traditional talk therapy to create a supportive environment for healing.

I am especially passionate about using art therapy to support emotional expression across developmental stages, helping clients process experiences that may be difficult to articulate in words. By incorporating Erikson’s developmental theory, I help clients understand how their past influences their present and empower them to move forward with resilience.
